Lucas is a current doctoral candidate at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in Piano Performance under the supervision of Professor Cristina Capparelli Gerling. Lucas won a scholarship to come work with the MAD lab and stayed with us for 6 months (Sept 2023-Feb 2024) while he worked on his dissertation research on memorizing atonal music. Lucas is currently back in Brazil and writing up the results of his research study with Alex and his advisor Cristina.
